Mentawai. Single.

For a week in July, I was a surf photographer.

I was approached to work with a group of surfers in the Mentawai Islands, Indonesia, both on their surfing trip and the aid work with Surf Aid International. Having worked on the Chasing the Jakartan Dream reportage two years earlier I was keen to reconnect with the people and orgs, although the intended story with the surfers didn't eventuate; the trip and islands have left a mark on me that I'm keen to go back and fulfil.
