The Gravel Road

It's no secret I'd rather be in the middle of nowhere than in somewhere 'normal'. Living in a van gave me that freedom; I'd travel with life at my fingertips, come what may I could pick up and bail or settle in for weeks.
While those days have passed a certain element remains. The roads that bring me solitude are the same. A place where traditional carparks don't exist, paths to the water carved in cliffs by years of like minded people seeking solitude in the ocean. Where the turn off from the highway is un-signposted, hidden behind a tree at best.
As society races for seclusion while closing in on itself I live in hope the coastline which carved my way of life will only ever be accessible by these Gravel Roads.
